Background
Reservoir Dogs was released in 1992, the first movie written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. Whilst not a huge success on its initial theatrical release, the film soon became a cult classic on video & DVD and is now considered one of the most influential cinematic pieces of its generation.
The Film
The story begins on the isolated island of Yamijima located a short distance from the shores of Japan. At midnight, on one fateful night 29 years ago, an under water electric cable snaps causing a total blackout on the island. The events of that ill-fated night result in the disappearance of the island's inhabitants, and to this day, the horrifying incident remains shrouded in mystery.
Pienoista kohua aiheuttanut Bully ei ilmesty Xboxille lainkaan, sillä se jää Playstation 2:n yksinoikeudeksi. Rockstar Vancouverin kehittämän, koulumaailmaan sijoittuvan pelin olisi tarkoitus päästä kauppojen hyllyille vielä tämän vuoden puolella.
Jo vuosi takaperin yhdysvaltalaisten ja brittiläisten kansalaisjärjestöjen hampaisiin joutunut Bully-peli on edelleen työn alla ja on tarkoitus julkaista vielä tämän vuoden aikana. Alustoiksi on ainakin aikaisemmin ilmoitettu PS2 ja Xbox.
Rockstar Vancouverin kehittämä peli kertoo koulukotiin joutuneesta pojasta, jonka päivään kuuluu kiusaajia ja ilkeitä opettajia, joista pitää hankkiutua eroon erilaisten jekkujen avulla. Kansalaisjärjestöjen mielestä koko aihepiirin käsitteleminen pelissä on sopimatonta.
